I started designing and developing websites in 1997. First it was basic HTML coding. What a lot of work, but it really helps to know HTML! Next came site builders and then themes and templates. Now it's web editing software, CSS, php, widgets, add-ons, plug-ins, blogs, YouTube and even social sites. You should never stop learning and I never do!
I've developed websites for myself, family, friends, employers, my kid's school, non-profits... It's so simple to put yourself (or your business) on the web. Sometimes I get frustrated when I look for a store, restaurant or other business on the internet and they don't have a website. Geez, all I wanted were your store hours.
